Node delivery scope

This guide applies to MediaByte Edge PoP CDN-EDGE-DE in de. Read the assigned service endpoints before configuring a publishing workflow; endpoint availability is specific to this node.

The node authority is cdn-edge-de.mediabyte.tech. The management authority is https://api.cdn-edge-de.mediabyte.tech, and public media distribution is served at https://vod-de.mediabyte.tech. Operator requests are authenticated separately from public read-only distribution.

Service endpoints on this node

The following service authorities and paths are active on this node:

- rtc.cdn-edge-de.mediabyte.tech/live/v1/rtc/ — Low-latency live media relay
- live.cdn-edge-de.mediabyte.tech/live/v1/edge/ — Live channel delivery to players
- api.cdn-edge-de.mediabyte.tech — Node management and health telemetry

Live delivery serves players; origin pull retrieves live channels; DVR supports time-shift playback; contribution ingest accepts live encoder media. Adaptive-bitrate segment delivery and low-latency CMAF chunk delivery handle media objects. Video-on-demand distribution serves cached segments, real-time media relay carries low-latency channels, and management provides node health telemetry. Only the assignments above are advertised for this node.

Tenant access & configuration

The publisher’s tenant configuration defines origin access, media object policy, and operator authorization. Origin certificate pinning, dedicated edge bandwidth reservations, and per-tenant stream token validation are evaluated as part of the delivery setup.

Protected controls require a valid bearer token or verified workspace session. Unauthenticated requests return HTTP 401. Keep management credentials on the publisher’s server.

Developer toolchain integration

Bundle dash.js or hls.js with the player application. Use the media authority assigned for this node. The following presentations are published at this node’s public media paths; channel-specific service assignments remain listed above.

The player uses the regional media authority directly. The corporate website is used for documentation and aggregate platform telemetry.

Public distribution manifests

Public distribution resources are read-only and support normal object retrieval. The regional mirror returns HTTP 200 for complete objects and HTTP 206 for valid range reads when enabled at the CDN.

Enterprise operator access

Workspace access is federated through your organization. Direct credential and password authentication are disabled by tenant security policy; MediaByte does not ask operators to enter a password here.
